  1. Identify  material being cut.
  2. Select from tool group catagory description or
    the tool group letter from "Pictorial Index" or
    following table's header.
  3. Choose surface feet per minute from the speed
    range provided in the following table.  Start at
    middle of range shown for average material
    hardness.  Lower speed for harder materials
    or dry cutting.  Increase speed when using
    TiAlN coating ( plus 20% SFM x equal IPR ) or
    high pressure coolant.
  4. Choose feed curve number. Use higher feed curve
    for softer continuously chipping material.  Add
    feed withdrawls as needed to lubricate cutting
    edges and clear chips on deeper holes.
  5. For inch per minute penetration rate see
    "PenertrationRate Table".
  6. Exact revolutions per minute are calculated using
    formula located below table.
  7. Exact inch per revolution feed see feed curve -
    feed multiplier (FM*) table
